Artemis storms into her room, slamming the heavy oak door behind her. It rings satisfyingly in the corridor outside, and she flops onto her bed. A bear comes to her, and she strokes it. "It's so unfair." she says not caring who hears. "Why can't I talk to Mortals!?! If they call, I should be able to answer." (this is after "Offerings to Artemis", so that's what she's mad about.)

I open the door and walk in. It was so tense that the only sounds I heard was the sound of my high heels clicking. I to over by her. "Artemis, I know that you like to help people and especially the daughter of your friend but you know zeus's rule..."

"The Rule has no meaning." Her words, so usually gentle and carefree, are hard and harsh. "If they need our help, we should help."

I sigh and sit on her bed. "I also do not like the rule. I would like to visit the children. Especially the 'chosen' one."

"Then talk to your precious husband. Make him change the rule." She entwines her fingers in the bear's fur. " You have just as much power as he."

"yes I do but he has been gone for a while, I don't know where, and he left me in charge so for now I am banishing the rule." I slam my staff down and a golden light washes over the room and gods everywhere else. "Que cela soit connu, la règle a été banni jusqu'à nouvel avis." (which means "let this be known, the rule has been banished until further notice.") I yell and my voice booms with thunder.

"YES!" She shouts gleefully, her eyes burning brightest blue for a second. "Hera, I love you!" Artemis crosses to the goddess, throwing her arms around her friend. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

I smile and hug her back. It was good to have the old Artemis back. "your very welcome. I have hated that rule as much as you and I'm glad that it's banished for now."

"You have to sometimes, though." Standing suddenly, she looks out her window. It is magical, showing places she needs to be. Sighing, Artemis says- "Sorry to run, but there's a Palestinian Boar terrorizing a village. I see you around." Then, with a small twang, she disappears.
